Management ToolsEach AMI management tool is designed to interoperate with other modules, giving decision makers more visibility into previously segregated organizational data points. This keeps integration times and costs low and application flexibility high. Most importantly, AMI provides real-time access to important operational information leading to better decision making. Individual management tools and their functionalities include: Schedule ManagementThe schedule management tool allows multiple schedules to be used to manage deliveries, inspections, appointments, tasks, etc. Operation ManagementThe operation management tool allows users to define management events. The event can be a project, action item set, task, a social or business event, a meeting agenda or any operation that requires tracking and management. An additional subset of the operation management tool is the objective management tool, which is intended to be a slightly less dynamic executive management tool to communicate strategic objectives.
List ManagementThe list management tool allows users to import or create lists (marketing lists, mailing lists, etc.), and provide follow up or progress status on each record on the list.
Knowledgebase ManagementCreate and maintain knowledgebases in Q&A or Subject & Body formats:
Document and Archive ManagementCreate and maintain a structure to track documents, records and archives. Documents, records and archives can be physical, electronic or scanned documents.
Product Issue ManagementCreate and track product issues, service tags, trouble tickets or service calls with integrated links to customer lists; product lists; and customizable status, urgency and satisfaction lists.
Risk ManagementThe Risk Management tool provides employee incident, third-party incident, issue and case management functionalities. It provides extensive tracking of risk management related issues and enables the business to construct a library of lessons learned and preventive measures. It also provides a good insurance incident set of tracking parameters.
Marketing Campaign ManagementThe marketing campaign management tool is a unified area to define and maintain marketing and advertising campaigns and track details about the nature of the campaign, zones or areas targeted, budgets, costs and satisfaction.
Strategic ManagementThe strategic management tool allows executives to define strategic plans and define each plan’s business model. Each strategic phase (which can include one or more business model) can then model category, phase and step detail by model category and/or phase. Each detail step can be associated with other steps via relationships and can be associated with a comprehensive set of metrics. If metrics are defined, metric progress tracking can be used. The individual business models can be very simple and easy to construct and track, or can be as complex as a four-dimensional relational matrix (three plus individual cell detail), including balanced scorecards, key performance indicators, SWOT analyses or many Six Sigma project methodologies.
